Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an AWS Connect Developer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based contact center solutions. You will build IVR flows, Python-based Lambda functions, and secure API integrations to connect customer interactions with enterprise data.

The role automates infrastructure with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD, ensuring reliable deployments, security, and observability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
8–15 years IT experience with 3–4 years cloud engineering.
Associate-level cloud certification (AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud) required.
Hands-on Amazon Connect configuration and administration experience.
Proficient in Python for Lambda functions and RESTful API integrations.
Experience with DynamoDB modeling, Terraform provisioning, and GitLab CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows, including routing and IVR paths.
Develop Python-based AWS Lambda functions and RESTful integrations.
Model DynamoDB tables and indexes for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Build secure RESTful integrations using API Gateway and Lambda.
Provision infrastructure with Terraform and manage GitLab CI/CD workflows.
Implement least-privilege permissions and secure integration boundaries.
Troubleshoot routing, latency, and availability using CloudWatch metrics.
Document flow logic, integration contracts, deployment procedures, and mentor teammates.
