Job summary

Dunhill Government Solutions is seeking an AWS Connect Developer to design, implement and maintain cloud-based contact center solutions for a federal civilian agency, using Amazon Connect and integrated AWS serverless services.

You will build interactive voice response (IVR) flows, Python-based functions and secure API integrations that connect customer interactions with enterprise applications and data stores, and automate infrastructure and application delivery with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of IT experience with 3–4 years cloud engineering.
• Associate-level cloud certification (AWS, Azure, OCI or Google Cloud).
• Hands-on Amazon Connect configuration and administration.
• Proficiency developing Python-based AWS Lambda functions and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with DynamoDB data modeling, Terraform and GitLab CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows and IVR paths.
• Develop Python AWS Lambda functions for contact center features.
• Model DynamoDB tables and indexes for efficient data access.
• Build secure RESTful integrations using API Gateway and Lambda.
• Provision infrastructure with Terraform and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement least-privilege permissions and secure data boundaries.
• Troubleshoot routing, latency and availability; improve reliability.
• Document flow logic, contracts, deployment steps and mentor juniors.
