Synchrony seeks an AVP, Compliance Governance and Reporting Lead to strengthen governance, risk reporting, and analytics across the Compliance program. You will synthesize complex information into concise, actionable insights for senior leadership and oversee key governance forums.

The role drives ongoing process improvement, master scheduling, and automation, partnering with Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, and first line of defense. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–7+ years of governance, risk and controls in financial services.
• Experience producing executive-level governance reporting and dashboards.
• Proficiency in MS Office with workflow automation familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Lead governance routines for Compliance and committees; prepare agendas and materials.
• Convert complex risk data into concise executive insights for leadership.
• Oversee risk appetite and KRI reporting with adherence to standards.
• Manage the Compliance Program Master Schedule; enable automation and approvals.
• Support regulatory examinations and audits with executive-ready materials.
• Drive continuous improvement using Tableau, Excel, and automation tools.
