Synchrony is seeking an AVP, Compliance Governance and Reporting Lead to drive governance, risk reporting, and management reporting for the Compliance Program. You will synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and oversee governance for key committees and risk oversight.

The role emphasizes data-driven improvements, automation, and standardized practices across regulatory inventory, KRIs, and master scheduling.

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
5+ years of governance, risk, and controls experience in financial services.
Experience managing governance, risk reporting, or executive reporting processes in a regulated environment.
Experience using risk/tools and reporting solutions (e.g., eGRC, Tableau, SharePoint/Teamsites).
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with workflow/automation tools.

Responsabilidades

Own and enhance key Compliance governance routines, including senior management forums.
Synthesize complex risk information into executive-level reporting and insights.
Oversee risk appetite and KRI reporting across stakeholders.
Manage the Compliance Program Master Schedule and enable automation in governance tooling.
Execute and oversee governance controls to map regulatory requirements to processes.
