Job summary

Levo Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Recovery Services to oversee the Recovery Services department and align collection policies with the credit union's purpose and members.

You will manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance improvements in delinquency and charge-offs while coordinating with legal, trustees, and agencies to protect assets.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; 3–5 years related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents.
• Mathematical skills: rates, ratios, percentages; interpret charts.
• Strong problem solving and decision making capabilities.
• Proficient in CRM, spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure collection policies comply with regulations and credit union policy.
• Ensure loan and account documentation for collections is proper and retained.
• Monitor and communicate collection requirements to collections staff.
• Prepare monthly reports of delinquency, charge off and collections on charge offs.
• Maintains bankruptcy records and data for regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with attorneys, agencies, trustees and creditors as needed.
