Job summary
SimVentions, Inc is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs. The role requires full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, and an ACTIVE Secret clearance.
US citizenship is required to obtain clearance. The position involves working with vendors, supporting Agile/SAFe processes, and coordinating SOWs, CD��RLs, and IGCEs as part of the program
Qualifications
- Two or more years of software or systems engineering experience.
- Knowledge of avionics systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software requirements.
- Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
- Conduct analysis of software defects.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity subject matter experts.
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
- Support the Engineering Change Proposal process.
- Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes.
- Prepare and review Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDRLs.
- Develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
- Support technical evaluations of Contractor proposals.
