Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for acquisition, development, and sustainment of various aviation programs. This role requires full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD.

Active Secret clearance is required, with potential for Top Secret eligibility after start. Two years of relevant engineering experience and knowledge of avionics systems are expected, with opportunities to

Qualifications

At least two years experience performing software or systems engineering activities.
Knowledge of avionics systems.
Active Secret clearance is required; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software requirements
Review and evaluate vendor software specifications
Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration
Conduct analysis of software defects
Coordinate with cybersecurity subject matter experts
Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs)
Support the ECP process
Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes
Prepare and review Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDRLs
Develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)
Support technical evaluations of Contractor proposals
