Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs. This on-site role is based at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, with the expectation of an Active Secret clearance or higher as required.

The candidate will develop software requirements, coordinate with vendors, analyze defects, and participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews within an Agile/SAFe

Qualifications

Two years of software or systems engineering experience
Knowledge of avionics systems

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software requirements
Review and evaluate vendor software specifications
Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration
Conduct analysis of software defects
Coordinate with cybersecurity subject matter experts
Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs)
Support the ECP process
Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes
Prepare and review Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDRLs
Develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)
Support technical evaluations of Contractor proposals
