Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer to support acquisition, development and sustainment of various aviation programs. The position requires full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, with an active Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship. The role involves developing software requirements, coordinating with vendors on software and system integration, and participating in Agile/SAFe reviews.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience performing software or systems engineering activities.
• Knowledge of avionics systems.
• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance (Top Secret possible later).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Conduct analysis of software defects.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity SMEs.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support ECP process and SAFe/Agile team processes.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDRLs.
• Develop IGCEs and support contractor evaluations.
