Job summary

Textron Aviation in Kansas seeks a Field Support Representative (Props) to provide technical advice and on-site service support to customers and authorized facilities across assigned regions. You will identify field issues, document for product improvement, and train service personnel while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Next, you will travel to support customers, address warranties and service programs, and liaise with product support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, or in lieu of degree one of these two: 3 years of relative aircraft maintenance experience; A&P license required.
• 3 years of relative aircraft maintenance experience; 2 year technical degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft structural repair, customer support, or relative aircraft maintenance experience required.
• Prior Customer Service, Service Center, or Field Service experience.
• A&P certificate or equivalent.
• Pilot's license.

Responsibilities

• Identify field issues and document maintainability and/or reliability issues to product support personnel for product improvement consideration within the company.
• Accurately prepare appropriate documentation to inform applicable persons and management of fleet issues, including potential fleet and financial impact.
• Convey working systems knowledge on Textron Aviation products and broaden knowledge by attending maintenance training regularly.
• Research and respond to incoming calls, letters, emails from owners requesting technical assistance and liaise with Product Support as needed.
• Work with Authorized Service Facilities to uphold requirements and provide necessary training.
• Address questions regarding Warranty, Service Programs, and CAMP/CESCOM.
• Maintain understanding of aviation community pulse by communicating with customers, sales, maintenance, and marketing vendors.
• Participate in trade shows and technical events within regions.
• Assist aircraft sales and Textron service center with prospect and customer contacts, providing technical support.
• Represent Textron Aviation at supplier meetings and operator conferences with presentations as required.
• Develop strong relationships within regional customer base and be available 24/7.
