Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking a Field Service engineer to provide technical advice and on-site service support for Textron Aviation products across assigned regions. You will be the primary contact for customers, resolve issues, and coordinate with Authorized Service Facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in aircraft maintenance, A&P or equivalent, and willingness to travel worldwide. Based in the United States, relocation to core regions may be required; a strong customer service background is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience plus A&P license.
• 3 years of aircraft maintenance with 2-year technical degree.
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including structural repair.
• Willingness to travel worldwide; prior customer service or field service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify field issues and document for product support personnel.
• Prepare documentation on fleet issues and potential financial impact.
• Convey working systems knowledge and attend maintenance training regularly.
• Respond to owners and operators requesting technical assistance; liaise with Product Support.
• Deal with ambiguity and handle diverse situations.
• Work with Authorized Service Facilities to provide training and meet customer expectations.
• Address questions about warranty and service programs; CAMP/CESCOM.
• Maintain understanding of aviation community within region; communicate with customers, sales, maintenance and vendors.
• Participate in trade shows and technical events within regions.
• Assist sales and service centers with technical support and customer contacts.
• Represent Textron Aviation at supplier meetings and conferences with presentations.
• Develop relationships within regional customer base and be available 24/7.
