Job summary

Adacel Technical Services, Inc. (ATS) in Newark, NJ seeks a Field Service Representative to support aerospace and defense training systems.

This on-site role offers challenging hardware/software maintenance, system setup, and FAA training operations responsibilities. The FSR will troubleshoot TSS hardware and software, back up data, train FAA personnel, develop scenario reports, and coordinate with management on simulator utilization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer hardware and operating system software typical of ATC systems.
• Four years FAA or US Military ATC experience, or ATC degree via AT-CTI.
• Ability to work with complex simulation and training tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain TSS hardware components and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve software problems and apply updates.
• Perform system start-up/shut-down and data backups.
• Train FAA personnel on TSS maintenance and operation.
• Operate TSS for proficiency, recurrent, and qualification training.
• Brief management on simulator performance and utilization.
• Develop and maintain site simulator utilization reports.
• Backup and manage scenario data; act as a Pseudo Pilot when needed.
• Develop Tower Simulation Scenarios per FAA requests.
