Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth event execution.

On-site responsibilities include equipment setup/breakdown, prompt troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate paperwork with Navigator. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred, plus 1 year of hospitality or AV experience and a valid driver’s license where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment for events.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment and software issues.
• Complete order entries in Navigator and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Coordinate with hotel staff and external vendors for equipment.
