Job summary

Encore seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will report to the Operations Manager or Director, Event Technology and coordinate with hotel staff and external vendors.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate’s preferred), 1 year of customer service or AV experience, and a valid driver’s license. You will assist with on-site events, troubleshoot equipment, and process orders in Navigator.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Internal applicants must meet training and certification requirements as per Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
• External applicants must meet/validate all training and certifications within one year.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Exceed the expectations of internal and external customers.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day.
• Troubleshoot and solve equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Follow company processes, complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.
• Interact with staff and vendors for equipment and coordinate order entries in Navigator.
