Job summary

Pronto AI is seeking a Field Engineer to install, maintain, and repair our autonomous vehicle solutions at customer locations across the US. The role emphasizes hands-on installation of hardware and software, field calibrations, and close collaboration with engineering and customer teams.

Travel up to 75% is expected, with the base salary range of $110,000–$164,000 per year plus equity. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in field service, automotive electronics, and mechatronics.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of field service experience in automotive electronics or mechatronics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to travel up to 75% to customer sites; based in Arizona, Florida, Texas or Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Install, preventive maintenance, and repair of Pronto hardware and software at customer sites.
• Perform on-site installations, calibrations, and validations to meet specifications.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
• Provide on-site customer support and basic training; document activities in CRM systems.
