Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to act as the liaison between client operations and Transdev teams. You will coach, mentor, hire, and supervise, ensuring compliance with processes and safety standards across shifts.

You will drive process improvements, coordinate with the client’s leadership on dispatch and program planning, and oversee performance-based pay programs for staff while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to company policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 2+ years of operations experience leading teams.
• Preferred Education: Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activity of the Operations Supervisor to ensure efficient operation of the shift.
• Drive special projects and Kaizen initiatives assigned by the Senior Operations Manager.
• Attend meetings with the client to represent SOM or other managers.
• Communicate clearly with Transdev management and client stakeholders.
• Support client’s operations leadership team in dispatch management and meetings.
• Coordinate, monitor and supervise subordinates; inform management of issues and offer resolutions.
• Investigate unsafe situations and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain program work plans and prioritize daily operations.
