Job summary

Transdev in the United States seeks an Operations Manager to act as the liaison with clients and the Transdev team. You will oversee the Operations Supervisor, drive Lean/Kaizen initiatives, and ensure safety and compliance across shifts.

The role requires supervising teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and advancing operational excellence while maintaining confidentiality and providing clear reporting. Travel and a flexible schedule are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred or 2+ years of operations experience leading teams.
• Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field is a plus; some supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activity of the Operations Supervisor to ensure efficient operation.
• Drive special projects and programs completion assigned by the Senior Operations Manager.
• Attend client meetings to represent SOM or other managers as needed.
• Communicate clearly with Transdev management and clients.
• Support client’s operations leadership in dispatch management and stakeholder liaison.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen and other Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Interpret metrics, identify opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure site compliance with global process standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee driver safety evaluations and retraining, manage performance-based pay, and assist SOM with evaluations.
• Coordinate and supervise subordinates, resolve operational/personnel issues, and provide guidance.
