Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 2+ years of operations experience leading teams.
• Preferred Education: Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field is a plus; some supervisory experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activity of the Operations Supervisor to ensure efficient operation of the shift.
• Drive special projects and programs completion assigned by the Senior Operations Manager.
• Attend client meetings to represent SOM or other managers as needed.
• Communicate clearly with Transdev management and client stakeholders.
• Support client’s operations leadership in dispatch management, meetings, and stakeholder communication.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen and other Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Interpret metrics, identify opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with global process standards and pursue continuous improvement.
• Oversee driver safety evaluations, retraining, and management of the performance-based pay program.
• Coordinate and supervise subordinates, addressing operational/personnel issues.
• Interact with and assist passengers as needed.
• Investigate unsafe conditions and implement changes to resolve issues.
• Schedule and manage program work plans in coordination with client staff.
• Maintain routine records and confidentiality; handle clerical tasks related to property operation.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Ensure daily operation processes such as shift start, briefs/debriefs, and out-of-office management run smoothly.
• Respond to service problems (outages, rerouting, incidents) and assist drivers with post-accident reporting.
