Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, coach a high-performing team, and partner with the Store Manager to optimize operations and customer experience in our busy store.

You will supervise technicians, manage parts inventory, enforce safety standards, and drive process improvements using ISI systems and company procedures to ensure service excellence and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Outstanding leadership and store management skills.
• Fast-paced work environment experience.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to mentor others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Manager role.
• Proven track record of exceeding business objectives.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA laws and MSDS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians and service personnel, plan and schedule duties, assign work, and follow up on completion.
• Coach service department teammates on ISI systems and service standards.
• Assist Store Manager on final employment decisions during recruiting.
• Work directly with customers on sales, service, opportunities, adjustments, etc.
• Evaluate performance and productivity of service department staff.
• Manage parts inventory and outside purchases, update and restock in-house parts.
• Ensure store safety and proper use of safety equipment.
• Oversee shop layout, equipment positioning, and compliance with safety procedures.
• Coach staff on enforcing wheel torqueing processes and inspections.
