Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will build a high-performing team, coach staff, and drive store processes and procedures to deliver excellence in customer service.

In this role you will supervise technicians, schedule duties, coach on ISI systems and service standards, and interact with customers to identify opportunities and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Service Manager role.
• Proven track record of exceeding business objectives.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and MSDS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in recruiting and final employment decisions.
• Supervise technicians, plan duties, assign work, and track completion.
• Coach staff on ISI systems, service standards, and processes.
• Interact with customers on sales, service opportunities, and adjustments.
• Monitor performance and productivity of service staff.
• Manage parts inventory and outside purchases per Tire Purchase Program.
• Ensure shop safety and proper equipment layout.
• Oversee compliance with safety procedures and wheel torqueing.
• Ensure inspections are performed.
