Job summary

Prestige Operations is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to descriptions of problems, and determine the services required. You will prepare repair orders with time estimates and costs, explain the work and charges to customers, and obtain authorization for additional repairs.

The role includes scheduling service appointments, reviewing repair orders, and keeping the work area and customer records organized.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent with related experience or training.
• BA degree or related experience or training.
• 2–4 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen to their description of problems or needed service.
• Prepare repair orders showing time, cost and labor estimates.
• Explain work performed and charges to the customer.
• Schedule service appointments and obtain customer/vehicle data.
• Review repair orders and ensure work is completed; close orders.
• Maintain a professional appearance and keep area clean.
