Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Service Advisor to schedule appointments, collect vehicle data, and greet customers while accurately documenting issues on repair orders.

You will drive the repair process by obtaining vehicle information, preparing cost estimates, and communicating promised times. The role emphasizes customer service, proper authorization for additional work, and a focus on maintaining service quality across the department.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Two years Service Advisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments with customers.
• Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Greets customers and documents vehicle issues.
• Writes up repair orders with customer problems clearly.
• Test drives vehicle or refers to test technician as needed.
• Provides accurate written labor and parts cost estimates.
• Maintains and communicates promised times with customers.
• Obtains customer signatures and payment method details.
• Updates dispatcher on progress and authorizations for additional work.
• Implements a service marketing program and ensures quality control.
• Keeps the work area clean and vehicles secured.

Education

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
