Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to concerns, and determine the service needed. You will prepare repair orders, estimate costs, and obtain customer approvals for additional work as necessary.

Responsibilities include advising on routine maintenance, identifying problems, and communicating clearly about labor and parts costs. The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to manage busy service workflows with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor or related role is required or equivalent training.
• Automotive ASE certifications or dealer manufacturer training is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory DMV record is required.
• Background screening and employment verification are part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on necessary services for routine maintenance.
• Identify mechanical problems via questions, visual inspection, or road tests.
• Prepare repair orders with labor and parts estimates for technicians.
• Explain cost estimates and repair details to customers and obtain approvals.
• Schedule service appointments and collect customer and vehicle data.
• Maintain accurate service history, vehicle information, and pricing guides.
