Job summary

Preston Automotive Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join our service department. You will be the liaison between technicians and customers, explaining recommendations and suggesting necessary maintenance to keep vehicles safe.

You will greet customers, walk around vehicles, provide estimates, and keep them informed on status. You will also follow up after visits to ensure satisfaction and contribute to sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers when they arrive and review appointments.
• Explain technicians' recommendations and suggested maintenance.
• Perform vehicle walk-around and inspections.
• Provide service time estimates and communicate status to customers.
• Follow up on vehicle status and communicate via preferred channel.
• Inform customers of required maintenance or repairs to keep vehicles safe.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff; build product knowledge to answer questions.
• Aim to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Post-visit follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
