Pack Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to guide customers through service needs, diagnose issues with questions and road tests, and prepare accurate repair orders. The role emphasizes clear communication, detailed estimates, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

The position requires reading and interpreting manuals, math proficiency for cost estimates, and the ability to discuss results and options with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts (discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference and volume).
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Have quality customer service skills
• Possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advises customers about necessary service for routine maintenance.
• Confers with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures and prepare work order for needed repairs.
• Prepares a repair order showing time, cost and labor estimates for service.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
• Test drives the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem or refer to test technician.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Establishes customer’s method of payment and obtains credit approval, if necessary.
• Notifies dispatcher of incoming work.
• Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.
