Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a Tech-Advisor to support vehicle service tasks, assist customers at the counter, and perform technician duties when required. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to VIP processes, and high-quality customer experiences at our Tilton location.

The Tech-Advisor collaborates with the Service Manager, completes required training including ASE certifications, and supports production of billed hours while maintaining shop cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority; follow safety policies and training.
• Assist customers at counter as service writer; educate on vehicle condition per MPI results.
• Work in shop as technician when needed; complete services per VIP standards.
• Complete LMS training and vendor trainings; obtain BA TS/BATS certifications and ASE certifications.
• Meet targets for customer engagement and billed hours; support team with VIP processes.
• Learn VIP processes and execute assigned duties to improve customer experience.
• Attend off-site trainings as needed; participate in meetings and huddles.
• Maintain facility and equipment, ensure cleanliness, report issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics and regulations; support policy adherence.
