Job summary

Lindsay Chevrolet is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to greet service customers promptly and professionally, assess needs by inspecting the vehicle and referencing service history, and clearly communicate cost and time estimates. You will promote services, parts, and accessories by leveraging product knowledge and obtaining proper authorizations.

Responsibilities include monitoring service progress, handling changes to estimates or timelines, administering warranties per manufacturer

Qualifications

• Two or more years of service advisor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license in the state with a clean driving record.
• Energetic attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet service customers promptly and courteously.
• Inspect vehicle and reference service history to identify needs.
• Promote services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate cost and completion time estimates and obtain authorization.
• Monitor service progress and obtain approvals for changes to estimates or timelines.
• Administer warranties in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Confirm appointments and conduct post-repair follow-up.
• Ensure customer vehicles are delivered with correct services performed.
• Adhere to state and federal auto service regulations.
