Job summary

Victory Mazda San Leandro in California is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor. You will be the hub of communication between customers and technicians, scheduling service, explaining needed repairs, and setting expectations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of dealer-level experience, an unrestricted driver's license, and a strong focus on customer service and accurate communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record
• Professional and dependable with strong customer service
• Safety and customer service oriented; basic computer skills
• Outstanding communication skills and professional appearance
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift as needed

Responsibilities

• Schedules service for customers in person or by phone to diagnose problems
• Follows up on repairs to ensure readiness and obtain authorization for revised estimates
• Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs
• Ensures all repairs pass quality control and/or road test
• Maintains knowledge of vehicle operation, warranties, campaigns, and TSBs
• Ensures documentation complies with regulations and standards
• Attends staff meetings, training, and completes duties as assigned
