Job summary

Fix Group Management is seeking a Service Advisor for our busy automotive repair shop in Maryland. The role focuses on greeting customers, collecting essential vehicle data, and communicating repair needs and costs while coordinating with technicians to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

You will explain repairs, sell recommended services within profit guidelines, and provide ongoing updates to customers throughout the repair process.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years as a Service Advisor or related role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to explain repairs and costs clearly.
• Proficient with Windows and office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect check-in information (VIN, mileage, concerns).
• Conduct vehicle walkarounds and document condition with photos.
• Explain recommended repairs and estimate costs to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service and accurate quotes.
• Update customers on repair progress and timelines.
• Create and manage repair orders and invoices at pickup.
