Job summary

Fixgroup, a busy automotive repair shop, is seeking a Service Advisor to be the primary customer contact for repairs and maintenance. You will greet customers, gather vehicle data, explain repairs and pricing, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service while maintaining satisfaction.

You will manage repair orders, quotes, and invoices, provide proactive updates to customers, and educate on recommended services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor or related position.
• Strong organizational and focus skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Windows OS and common office software.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Basic math skills for invoices and estimates.
• Ability to maneuver in and out of vehicles as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and gather check-in information including VIN, mileage, build date, and concerns.
• Perform vehicle walkarounds, take photos, and document condition.
• Provide clear explanations of repairs and costs to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to meet timelines.
• Explain and sell repairs based on company profitability and customer value.
• Keep customers updated on repair progress and expected completion times.
• Create and manage repair orders, quotes, and invoices.
• Assist with extended warranty claims and documentation.
