Job summary

Asbury in Columbia, MD is seeking a customer‑focused Service Advisor to greet customers, collect vehicle information and provide accurate repair estimates in a fast-paced dealership environment. You will promote maintenance services, schedule appointments, and communicate timelines to customers and technicians while upholding manufacturer guidelines and Asbury's CSI goals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain pertinent vehicle information
• Actively promote and build rapport with the customer
• Advise customers on the care and value of maintaining their vehicles per manufacturer specs
• Generate and provide customer with a complete and accurate estimate of repair
• Establish and communicate completion time of repair with customer and technician
• Answer incoming service calls
• Maintain and schedule service appointments
• Follow prescribed procedures for post follow-up resulting in return visits and increased CSI
• Strictly follow warranty guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all laws and company policy regarding safeguarding information
• Must manage in a fast paced environment with limited supervision
• Must have great customer service, phone and computer skills
