You will greet customers, document concerns, schedule appointments, explain estimates, and coordinate with technicians to provide timely updates and approvals for additional services. The role emphasizes strong communication and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, customer service representative, or related role preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership or shop management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately document service concerns and repair requests.
• Schedule service appointments and maintain shop workflow.
• Prepare and explain repair estimates, recommended services, and costs.
• Communicate with technicians regarding diagnosis, repair status, and completion timelines.
• Keep customers informed of repair progress and obtain approval for additional services when needed.
• Review completed work orders with customers and answer questions regarding repairs performed.
• Process invoices and collect payments as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and customer information.
• Promote maintenance programs and additional services that benefit the customer.
• Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional service department.
