Job summary

You’ll review histories and inspections to propose the right maintenance and tire options, prepare estimates, and keep customers informed throughout the process.

The role supports growth toward management positions and involves training, safety, and compliance in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and organized with strong sales conversations.
• Ability to learn automotive products and services and manage multiple priorities.
• Professional appearance and effective communication with customers and teammates.
• Familiarity with service standards and store technology like POS and inspection tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR checks; weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, listening to needs and building trust.
• Review vehicle history and inspection results to recommend services.
• Explain maintenance, repair, tire options, warranties, and financing clearly.
• Create estimates, work orders, and invoices; update customers on status.
• Coordinate with technicians and leadership to manage workflow.
• Schedule appointments, verify parts, and ensure proper checkout procedures.
• Follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage return visits.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and follow PPE rules.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, upholding Sun Auto values.
