Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a dynamic Sales & Service Advisor to greet customers, assess needs, and guide them through service decisions. You’ll work with the team to build trust, explain options, and ensure a smooth checkout while delivering quality customer care in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Role emphasizes learning our products, providing accurate estimates, and maintaining service standards.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to engage customers to sell services.
• Strong communication and active listening in person and over the phone.
• Willingness to learn automotive products, services, and store tools.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, listening to needs and building trust from the first hello.
• Review vehicle history and inspection results to recommend services.
• Explain maintenance, repair, tire, warranty, and financing options clearly.
• Create accurate estimates, work orders, and invoices in the POS system.
• Keep customers updated on service status, timing, and cost.
• Coordinate with technicians and store leadership to manage workflow.
• Schedule appointments, verify parts availability, and follow checkout procedures.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage return visits.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and customer-ready store environment and follow PPE requirements.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
