Job summary

Westlake Flooring Services is seeking a Regional Manager to lead and grow the Great Lakes automotive floorplan sales team. You will coach 10-25 area managers, develop dealer relationships, present products, and drive market share across multiple states.

Travel is required, up to 75% of the time, and candidates should have 5+ years of sales management experience, a business degree, and strong MS Office proficiency. Compensation ranges from $72,000 to $180,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years sales management
• High energy and with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and various sales software applications
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a closely related field
• Qualified Candidates should live in Region
• Computer skills are a must. MS Office (Excel and word).

Responsibilities

• Coaching, leading and developing Area Managers
• Manage outside sales within the region; assist with hiring and training new area managers
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify targets and project contacts
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts assigned
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
• Establish and maintain client relationships
• Manage Area Managers through quality checks and follow-up
• Identify and resolve client concerns
• Prepare status reports on activity, closings and goals
• Communicate new product and service opportunities to staff
• Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce dealer attrition
• Participate in marketing events like seminars and trade shows
• Travel required throughout the assigned territory
• Comfortable travelling up to 75% of the time
• Other duties as assigned
