Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass Florence is seeking an Estimator in Training who will learn to diagnose and prepare estimates for repair in line with insurance partner and company guidelines. You will support the estimator, communicate value to customers, and help ensure accurate repairs, timely deliveries, and high close rates.

A strong customer-service background and basic computer skills are required. This full-time role offers paid training, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities to advance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop-off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and take initial photographs.
• Upload photos and notes to CCC One with arrival time.
• Verify and finalize estimates during teardown.
• Prepare final parts list and repair planning documentation.
• Update customers regularly and review estimates & dates.
• Assist insurance adjusters with damage reports.
• Support production meetings and follow-up with customers.
