Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a college student for a co-op position to design and develop automation and control systems. You’ll interact with databases, PLCs, and HMI interfaces while supporting client projects across multiple sites.

You will collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality software and hardware solutions, travel to client plants for assessments, and grow toward leading a project team. This role provides hands-on experience in industrial IT and automation.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in Engineering or Control Systems.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Interface with process lines, manufacturing equipment and sensors.
• Architect solutions from database to UI tools.
• Provide clients with real time, actionable process reports.
• Develop quality code per standards.
• Work in a team with engineers and designers from RoviSys and partners.
• Travel to customer sites for planning, commissioning and testing.
• Grow into a role leading a team of engineers and technicians.
