Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a co-op student in Michigan to design and develop automation and electrical control systems for client projects. You will work under experienced engineers and participate in projects from database to user interfaces, delivering real-time reports and quality code.

The role involves visiting customer plants for planning, commissioning and testing, with opportunities to grow into a team leadership position supporting automation and information solutions.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a technical field (Engineering/Control Systems).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Design and develop electrical control systems interfacing with equipment and sensors.
• Architect solutions from database to UI tools.
• Provide real time, actionable process reports.
• Develop quality code following standards.
• Travel to client sites for planning, commissioning and testing.
• Grow into a leadership role managing engineers and technicians.
