Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a college student for a co-op position in Ohio. You will design and develop automation and electrical control systems interfacing with process lines and sensors, under the guidance of experienced engineers.

You will travel to client plants, document existing systems, and help define control schemes using P&ID, I/O lists, and process descriptions. There are tracks in Systems, Information Systems and Industrial IT.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• Strong academic achievement with GPA 3.0+.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in Engineering or Control Systems.
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Travel to client plants to assess and document existing systems and connected equipment.
• Use P&ID, Equipment Lists, I/O Lists and Process Descriptions to define control schemes for clients.
• Network customer systems, Controllers, HMI PCs, Field instruments and Process Skids to provide fully integrated control systems.
• Scripting and light programming.
• Grow into a position leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide automation and information solutions.
