Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a co-op student for hands-on design and development of automation and information systems. You will work under experienced engineers to create control systems interfacing with plant equipment and generate real-time reports for clients.

The role offers growth toward leading a project team, with travel to customer sites and opportunities to gain exposure to DCS/PLC technologies across Rockwell, Siemens, and Emerson.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in engineering, control systems, or related field.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems for client projects.
• Create electrical control interfaces for process lines and sensors.
• Architect solutions from database to user interface tools.
• Provide real-time, actionable process reports to clients.
• Develop quality code in line with standards and client specs.
• Collaborate in a team with engineers and designers, including travel to client sites.
• Grow into a leadership role guiding a small team of engineers and technicians.
