Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a college co-op student to design and develop automation and control systems, interfacing with process lines and sensors. You'll work under experienced engineers, travel to client plants, and grow toward leading a team on projects.

Paths include Systems, Information Systems, and Industrial IT, with hands-on duties from documenting existing systems to scripting and configuring networks. Strong problem-solving and a solid academic record are required.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a Bachelor's program in engineering/technical field.
• Strong academic record.
• Full-time student status.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Travel to client plants to assess and document existing systems and connected equipment.
• Use P&ID, Equipment Lists, I/O Lists and Process Descriptions to define control schemes for clients.
• Network customer systems, Controllers, HMI PCs, field instruments and Process Skids.
