Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a college student for a Co-op position in Portage, MI, to design and develop automation and electrical control systems under the guidance of experienced engineers and developers, applying knowledge from coursework to real client challenges.

You will work across systems, information IT, and industrial IT projects, travel to client plants for planning and testing, document existing systems, and grow into a leadership role delivering integrated automation and data reporting

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a technical field related to Engineering or Control Systems.
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Design and develop electrical control systems interfacing with process lines, manufacturing equipment and sensors.
• Architect solutions using technologies from database to AI to user interface tools.
• Provide real time, actionable information reports about processes.
• Develop quality code in accordance with company and client standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, partners and clients.
