Job summary

RoviSys in Houston, TX is offering a Co-op position for college students to gain hands-on experience in automation and information systems. You will design and develop automation systems, travel to client plants, and work under experienced engineers to deliver real-world solutions.

This role supports three paths—Systems, Information Systems, and Industrial IT—providing exposure to DCS/PLCs, databases, scripting, and cybersecurity in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a technical field (Engineering or Control Systems).
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Design and develop electrical control systems interfacing with process lines and sensors.
• Architect solutions from database to AI to user interface tools.
• Provide clients with real-time, actionable process reports.
• Develop quality code per RoviSys and client standards.
• Travel to customer sites for planning, commissioning and testing.
• Grow into a lead role coordinating engineers and technicians.
