Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a co-op student to engage in design and development of automation systems across multiple project streams in client environments. You will work under experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience with DCS/PLC, HMI, and reporting tasks while traveling to client plants for site assessments and installations.

Ideal candidates are full-time engineering or technical students with strong academics, problem-solving drive, and the ability to collaborate in a team.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status
• GPA 3.0 or above
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in Engineering, or Control Systems
• Problem solving and developing solutions
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems
• Travel to client plants to assess and document existing systems and connected equipment
• Use P&ID, Equipment Lists, I/O Lists and Process Descriptions to define control schemes
• Network customer systems, Controllers, HMI PCs and Process Skids to provide integrated control systems
• Grow into a position leading a team of engineers and technicians
