Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a college student for a cooperative position to design and develop automation and information solutions across systems and industrial IT. You will collaborate with engineers to assess client plants, document existing setups and help define control schemes using P&ID and process descriptions.

The role offers hands-on learning with travel to customer sites, exposure to PLC/DCS environments, and opportunities to grow into leading a team of engineers and technicians on projects.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a Technical Field related to Engineering or Control Systems.
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without RoviSys sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems for client projects.
• Travel to client plants for assessment and documentation.
• Define control schemes using P&ID, Equipment Lists, I/O Lists and Process Descriptions.
• Network customer systems, controllers, HMIs and field devices.
• Develop quality code following established standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, partners and clients.
