Job summary
C&W Services is seeking an Automation Engineer to support site maintenance and optimize Material Handling Equipment control systems in a modern, climate-controlled facility.
You will work with conveyors, sortation, scanners, and HMIs, applying PLC/PC control, Rockwell software, and industrial networks to improve performance while ensuring safety. This role offers hands-on problem solving with operations and engineering in a global company.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in automation, PLC/PC control, HMIs, and VFDs.
- Experience with SCADA, KPIs, and reading electrical drawings.
- Support for conveyors and sortation systems; strong problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Promote safe working environment by following procedures.
- Provide guidance on maintaining material handling control systems and electrical distribution.
- Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems (PLC/PC, Rockwell).
- Act as first escalation for automation issues and coordinate with vendors/network teams.
- Collaborate with operations and engineers to ensure system reliability.
