Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Automation Engineer to maximize reliability and performance of material handling equipment in our fulfillment centers. You will troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, analyze metrics, and drive continuous improvement across MHE systems using SCADA and various control networks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of PLC programming/automation experience.
Experience with PLC-controlled automation in process or production environments.
Robotics work cells and control systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems critical to operations.
Troubleshoot PLCs, industrial networks, and control components.
Monitor MHE performance and analyze system improvements.
Provide first-level escalation support to site technicians.
Perform building system assessments to optimize material handling performance.
