Key People in Wyoming, MI is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer II to own the full lifecycle of custom automation projects. You will design control software, integrate robotics and vision systems, develop electrical panel layouts in AutoCAD Electrical, and drive on-site commissioning with cross‑functional teams.
Candidate should have 5+ years in industrial automation, strong troubleshooting, and experience with Rockwell/AB platforms. Domestic/international travel up to 15% is expected.
Qualificações
- 5+ years designing, building, and programming custom industrial automation systems.
- Experience with NEC, NFPA 79, and RIA TR R15.06 electrical codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience with Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley platforms is required; other platforms are a plus.
Responsabilidades
- Design and implement controls architectures using PLCs and HMIs.
- Integrate robotics, vision systems, VFDs, and servo applications into control logic.
- Program, test, and troubleshoot networks (DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet).
- Design electrical panels and wiring diagrams in AutoCAD Electrical.
- Lead commissioning, on-site startup, and client handover.
