Job summary

Chilton Auto Body in San Leandro, CA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers and business partners through the repair process. You will greet customers, explain the collision repair steps, and assist with insurance and payments, building strong relationships to ensure a smooth experience.

Entry level with real-world auto body collision repair exposure; CCC One knowledge is a real plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto body collision repair industry preferred; CCC One knowledge a real plus.
• Effective time management and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication with teammates, customers, and business partners.
• Proficient with computers and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Willing to pass a thorough background check.
• Able to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers by phone or in person and walk through the repair process; explain insurance claims information, processing, and payment procedures.
• Complete vehicle intake: map damage, photograph vehicles, and document work files per standards.
• Perform administrative tasks: collect payments, update ARMS portal, support location manager with expense documentation, and follow up on Accounts Receivable.
• Training: complete role-based training through Collision University and partner training as necessary.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
