Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, operator of the Big O Tires franchise in Missouri, seeks a General Service Technician to perform tire service, oil changes, and vehicle maintenance with accuracy and timeliness.

You will unload tires, assist customers, promote services, and adhere to safety and PPE guidelines. The role emphasizes friendly customer service, teamwork, and following company policies. Training opportunities and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to exchange accurate information with customers.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with PPE regulations and safety procedures.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil and change oil filter; lubricate vehicles; install, rotate and balance tires; check and fill fluids.
• Unload tires and other merchandise from trucks and deliveries.
• Inspect disposed tires and store or dispose of tires correctly.
• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service.
• Promote sales by explaining benefits of services and products.
• Maintain store appearance and follow Big O Tires standards.
• Safely operate vehicles in service areas and complete required training.
